Ever lost rep because you forgot to turn on your transponder before jumping into a friendly system? Transponder Reminders is a mini-mod that adds an option to jump points leading to friendly systems1 that activates your transponder while jumping, and (optionally) to deactivate your transponder when jumping to hyperspace. If you normally prefer to keep your transponder on in hyperspace, you can disable the prompt to turn it off by setting "promptToDeactivateInHyperspace": false in transponder-reminders_settings.json.

1: Precisely, it prompts you if the system contains a market that is not already hostile and belongs to a faction whose patrols conduct transponder checks.

It seems the release did not include the up-to-date jar--if you see an error about not finding "transponder-reminders-settings.json", please redownload.

Not when you transverse jump, but frankly, if you forget while using it, you had it coming

This mod also reminds you to turn your transponder off when entering hyperspace, and saves a menu level entering systems. Much less necessary, but still adds a bit of convenience.

If anyone is still using this, it also hides some vanilla text added in 0.9 (warnings about fleets on the other side of the jump point, at the least)--I recommend against using this for now.

I do still miss the reminder to turn my transponder off when jumping to hyperspace--I will probably attempt to make a more narrowly-targeted version that adds thatwithout overriding the vanilla enhancements.

does this warn you with a popup when you attempt to transverse into a system?

Best mod on this site, I always forget, always.

Too bad it doesn't work anymore, the reminder when you leave the system does, but the one when entering does not.

My reputation is plummeting...

does nexerlin or varja sector conflict in some way?

It alread had been fixed in the newest version.
