I use nividia. And it's high performance mode now.
When I use 1600*900?everything looks great .But when I switch to the 1920*1080(cover the whole screen)?the fps dropped to 10 even lower . And it happened too when I toggled the fullscreen on.

Hi - is this vanilla or running with mods? If it's with mods, have you tried turning off GraphicsLib from its settings?
If it's vanilla - are your graphics drivers up-to-date? Have you tried rebooting? Turning off any other software you might have running?

Well, either vanilla or running with mods, the same situation. And I tried that also.
My Nividia driver is the latest verison. Also, reboot .And turned off everything can be turned off.
Ah, my system is win10.
Actually , long time ago when I played 0.8rc17?it worked well.

Hmm, that's very strange. Does your computer have multiple graphics cards? If so, can you try forcing it to run Starsector using the nvidia card? It almost sounds like, for whatever reason, it's not using it when run at fullscreen.

If i use core graphics card, without any mods, 1080p(no fullscreen), it works well(about 45fps). When I load mods, its fps starts being very low.

45 still sounds low, but then that depends on the computer, too.
With mods, though: what happens if you turn off GraphicsLib from its settings file? (Assuming you have that enabled in the first place.)

GraphicLib enable:
Nvidia: 10~20fps Core:10~20fps
turn off:
Nvidia: 10~20fps Core:60fps but it slows down if I open a UI panel.

Hmm. And the computer/video card is not in some kind of low-power mode? If not, this really sounds like a driver issue - I'd suggest trying an earlier version of the drivers. Or just sticking with the "core" graphics card, if the performance there is more or less acceptable w/ GraphicsLib off.

I think it might be drivers problem too. Let me have a try when I have time.
