Hey there, mate.

And greetings from Czech Republic.



Are you playing Starsector?
Are you bored, crushed by strong factions (like Knights Templar) or just curious to try new hull ?

In that case, I can provide you with adequate substitute for your obsolete fleets in just ONE ship.

I call it, BISMARCK.
- 1st grade armor n´ super-durable hull.
- Avesome maneuverability, speed over 200su, burn 18.
- Monstrously high flux capacity, 360° shield coverage.
- 100 fleet points, 5000 ordnance points limit (cca. 6500 with skills affection)
- Value 19 milion cr.
-17500 cargo, 5000 fuel
-Single flight deck

- Weapon mounts:
74 small universal
30 medium universal
17 large universal
20 medium missile
4 large missile


ENJOY


(Feel free to edit this mod as much as you like)

PS.: Version of game doesnt matter. Its like any other mods - should work in later releases.
PPS.: Tested on both versions and it works fine

sweet jesus, are those the recommended ordinance points allotted to all of those mounts or are those the sheer number of mounts  :o

Ordnance points are alocated basicaly for both ship systems and weapon mounts.
Simplier : You have plenty of space for your equipment.

I found the mount position very bad, many weapons are too near, and many do not seems have a realistic arc.

If a large weapon can shot on two sides, medium weapon below him cannot. And I see all Ion pulser look very ugly because of that

For say, you need to have 0 weapon who have a arc where he can shoot on your cockpit. For me ^^.

I found the mount position very bad, many weapons are too near, and many do not seems have a realistic arc.

Not functional, actually:

This mod includes sprite graphics for two new weapons: bds_lrbm.png  and bds_pdrailgun.png.

However, there is no weapon_data.csv file included in the mod. There are no specifications for those guns, so both gun sprites have no in-game function and are useless.

Please clarify; thanks.

[ If you choose to fix this, please don't forget to update the version number of this mod. :) ]

Why anger? If you revive a mod, go that seriously , because have more than one weapon who have 360? degres is impossible on starsector except for built-in/system special weapon ^^. Sorry if you have take very bad.

                         2) Thought, when something is claimed dead by its creator, isnt it like with expired patents ?

Bioware and EA announced that they won't make another Mass Effect game, do you think that allows you to make your own Mass Effect game?
Are franchises trademarks or copyrights? I think trademarks can lapse if abandoned, but copyright stays around forever. (Literally, Disney will have it extended before expires. Ironically, Mickey Mouse's original copyright is invalid on a technicality.)

Copyrights are forever, Patents expires, Trademarks do not expire but are voided if an infringement isn't challenged.

But are franchises Copyrights or Trademarks? I know the individual games/books/movies/comics/etc. are copyrights, but what about the franchise as a whole?

Trademarks are for brands not products, to continue on my example Mass Effect Andromeda the game is a copyrighted product, "Mass Effect" the name is a trademarked brand.

But with the recent rulings against patent trolls and "licensed" physical products, all of this might change in the near future.
