Title: [0.7.2aRC3] Starsector+ Deployment Points and/or rounding error?
Post by: Schwartz on March 13, 2016, 03:14:14 AM
I'm not sure if this is a SS+ issue but assume it is, since in vanilla the Combat skill doesn't actually reduce the cost of deployment and therefore deployment points are always whole numbers.

When you fill up your available deployment points exactly, there is a condition where you have, let's say, 70/100 points assigned but a cap ship taking 30 points can't be selected. When you now de-select a cheap fighter wing, it'll allow you to select first the cap ship and THEN the fighter wing to an even 100/100.

I also noticed that the Recovery Cost (supplies) number is not always identical with the deployment cost 1:1. For example, a Doom may cost 25(-10), but on the actual deployment screen it'll say 24.
