A simple mod which add new items to scavenge on abandoned space stations and planet ruins. Different stations and size ruins reward different items. The items have the only practical purpose of be sold for extra cash.

Every item has its own drop group, if that is what you referring to.

Can this be installed mid-save? I did so, but no loot is dropping.

I like the idea of this, would you be able to add the metals and gems to have a low probability drop to the Nexerelin mining pool of items?

Unfortunately not. A new game is required.

I tried to do it but I only got a very crude and not satisfying result. I don't have the skill to implement it properly.

I understand, I was hoping you had more skill than I had becasue I too have failed at doing it :). I thank you for looking into it and having tried the mod I am finding exploration more profitable and for me that is a nice plus.

It seems some mod on my list is incompatible, since I have looted about 5 stations and nothing from this so far, also looted about that many ruins planets. My suspect is the bionics mod, but i'm not sure. Here's my mod list. https://pastebin.com/raw/Gr84yNEc

Yeah, this mod is incompatible with any other that modifies the same rows of the file "salvage_entity_gen_data", like for example Ashes of The Domain- Vaults of Knowledge, mod that you have.
I also have that mod activated and made it compatible by just copying the line "ashes_research:4" located in the cell "station_research - drop_random" and paste it onto the same place in my mod. I am aware that this may be not a proper way of adding compatibility but I dont know a better one.

Can you send the VOK compatible file? its definitely not the only mod in my list that modifies that file, but it can't hurt if I had it. Went ahead and looked through each file, merged VOK, and more loots files changes together, testing in a ongoing save now, may need to use a new save will report back if it worked. Works!

The new items added by my mod are not commodities produced or consumed by industries and they are not affected by supply or demand. So I don't think "Market Retrofits" will be of any use.
