After I fight a patrol and the encounter ends, I chase the survivors down for a rematch in another encounter seconds later, then auto-resolve.  I get no loot or XP from any ships I kill.  If I fight normally instead of auto-resolve, I get the loot and XP (but I wanted to auto-resolve to avoid taking damage).

Sometimes, auto-resolve gives XP and loot; sometimes, it does not.

Also, this is with no meddling from additional fleets.

Thanks - was reported earlier and fixed for the .1 release.

(I forget which it was, but you either only got loot when allies were involved, or you only didn't when they were involved.)
