How bad are your SS cravings?

I had a craving to play SS tonight. So I booted it up... only to discover that my right mouse button is DOUBLE CLICKING at random! As its a toggle for the most important thing....

This was unacceptable.

Cue me spending the next 90 minutes taking apart, retensioning the leafspring on the RMB, and putting the thing back together (not conceptually difficult, but man are those little springs fiddly!).

Lets see if it works...

Good luck!
I've been looking for similar games like SS (You fly large ships around instead of some super fighter) to sake my need of an update but the genre is very spartan and the only other game out there that I do not own would fry my craptop in an instant. (X3 that is. I already own Nexus: TJI)

Ahahaha it works!

I am now gleefully assembling overpowered frankenmod ships and having a blast.

Yeah, I haven't found anything else that quite scratches the itch that SS does. I'm not really looking for a FP flyer at the moment, even though there are some really nice ones out/coming.

Thank you for reminding me to fix my mouse right button. Now it is working reliably and not 1-2-3-4 clicks with rapid succession at random.

I haven't been playing much recently, but I'm pretty much just waiting for 0.7a.

Yeah, I should really get a better mouse - this is like a $10 one that wore out in a year. I'm probably going to buy a new one, but I wanted to play then lol.

Its actually been working very well post fix!
