I'm thinking about wrapping this mod up soon and asking the authors of some mods for permission to make missions with their ships. I think that'll be a good test of MissionMaker's modded ship abilities.  :)

Mission Pack 0.32 Release

Mission Pack 0.32 has been released. It adds three new missions: Spark, Conflagration, and The Sector Burns.

If I don't get any ideas for missions I'll probably wrap this mod up soon (I'm out of ideas and I think I've shown that MissionMaker works.) I'll then start some mission collections for modded ships if I can get permission.  :o

I'm still trying to get Assassination to work properly, but it refuses. :(

My offer with the Impossible Missions still stands. The first person to beat one gets an honorary mission of some sort. (That should be amusing.)

If you think any of these missions has an incorrect difficulty rating, or you have any other feedback, I'd appreciate it.

Well, after a good while trying, I don't think that's going to be me!

It's a very hard mission indeed, but I can't help feeling I have half a chance, so good job  :)

You can change your load out, but only using vanilla weapons. I don't think the default variants are that great, to be honest. :)

Now I just have to figure out what I meant by a "dedicated mission." :)

No that's perfectly fine. Sorry for the confusion.  ;D I only meant you couldn't use modded weapons because they might be more powerful.

I like your suggestion for the Dominators. I'll probably give the player a Medusa and Tempest, so they can choose between the two. (Unless you'd prefer it differently.)

I'd love to implement that, but I don't how to do it in MissionDefinition. :( If you know how, tell me and I will add the functionality.

Just thought to have a go myself at two of the impossible missions. I love challenges. Everything was Vanilla, default loadouts (most were really weak configurations) except usually my flagship.

Both were really easy from 1st (and single) attempt. The 1st mission I did again, because I forgot to turn on recording. I didn't even come close to losing a single ship (except perhaps a fighter or two in the 2nd one). No idea why they are at impossible. I will try the 3rd one, perhaps that's more difficult.

Awesome, can I link to those videos on the front page? If you have any requests, I'll make you an honorary mission too, even though you weren't the first. :)

(Interesting that you beat them so easily. I failed miserably at both of them.)

I've changed the difficulty of Desperate Defence to HARD. I had it on impossible because it's a lot harder without the phase beam.

Hey, sure you can add them. But I do not promise they will stay forever in my YT account. It would be best to re-download them and upload them to your personal account if you intended for them to never "expire" :)

I have many unlisted videos, and sometimes I "empty the recycle bin".

PS: Thank you for contributing to the Starsector community. This game wouldn't be such a powerhouse if it weren't for all the people that spend hundreds of hours modding it.

Mission Pack 0.34 Release

Mission Pack 0.34 has been released. It adds one new mission: The Boneyard. (This one is incredibly difficult.)

I've asked Cycerin for permission to do a mission pack for Blackrock Drive Yards, so if he says yes I'll probably be done with this mod.

That means if you have any ideas for missions you should tell me now!

Mission Pack 0.35 has been released. It adds one new mission: The Right Price. (Much easier than The Boneyard)
