LISA The painful RPG
« on: January 22, 2015, 06:37:18 AM »

"Lisa is a quirky side-scrolling RPG set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Beneath the charming and funny exterior is a world full of disgust and moral destruction. Players will learn what kind of person they are by being FORCED to make choices. These choices permanently effect the game play. If you want to save a party member from death, you will have to sacrifice the strength of your character. Whether it's taking a beating for them, or chopping off limbs, or some other inhuman way. You will learn that in this world being selfish and heartless is the only way to survive... " - Quote from steam page.

Oh, there are also no women around 'cause they all died in some mysterious way.

Weird and disturbing, another kick started gem.

from the sound of that description, i can imagine why they have decided to not have women in there at all, saves them a lot of pointless debates and arguments, just sad that it comes to that.

it kind of sounds like This War of Mine TBH, save your friends and take a beating yourself, kill someone else to survive, even if they were the nicest person in the world under the surface.

The no women thing is more of a plot and story choice than anything else, they all disappear in a white flash probably caused by an awkward experiment, there is technically one girl in the game which the protagonist considers as his daughter and he is haunted by the memory of his dead sister.
