When I click on the download link from my email receipt it only downloads 62a and not the most recent version. Is there some other way to get the update? I have my product key if necessary, thanks.

This is the link to the news post for the 0.65.1a (latest) release, and for future reference you can use this link to look for past releases in the future (say if Alex comes out with 0.8 but you really love a mod that was made for 0.7 and isn't compatible anymore, etc.)

Well, conveniently I also showed him how to search for the Release tag on news posts, so I'm sure he would have gotten there EVENTUALLY...

Oh thanks, is this game free? I've only ever downloaded my copy from my purchase receipt

It's $15 currently, and at release it will be $20 (I think). If you've already purchased it then you can keep downloading and playing all the alpha versions.

No, it still costs money. Downloading the program itself is free, but you'll need to get your purchase key and copy+paste it into the box when you start it up.

I think it makes a registry entry that maintains the key, though, as while I specifically remember having to re-enter the key on first install to new machines, I do not recall having to ever put it in again even after updating.
