Fleet too large for Com Relays?
« on: October 22, 2014, 08:21:01 PM »

Pretty much exactly what the title is. Whenever I go through the dialogue and click proceed, the progress bar starts, and my large fleet moves a bit, which I am assuming is what is breaking the sniffer upload. I wasn't entirely sure if this was a feature, that large fleets can't  install sniffers, but I thought that type of thing would be handled through dialogue.

Yes I -am- sending you, alone, unarmed, against the might of the Hegemony defense fleet.  Not to worry - watching how they obliterate your puny frigate will be most... enlightening.  I shall dissect their tactics and emerge victorious!  Any questions? Then get to your ship, you launch in 5."

The fleet size issue also breaks patrol scans. They try to scan you, but you're just too big!  :D

+1 on both of these
you can do the sniffer upload if you start it when the fleet is on top of the relay and then use mouse move to keep it on top while it completes
it seems to me that max distance from center of your fleet to center of relay (or scanning fleet) exceeds max value and it returns a failed state

The sniper rifle. For when you want to reach out and touch someone.
WARNING objects in sniper scope may appear closer then they actually are.
