I had literally just started a new game when a hegemony patrol's FIRST ACTION was to try to extort money from me. i let them scan so they knew i wasn't holding anything illegal, but when they asked for the money i told em to *** off. They didn't take a liking to that, and decided to attack me! all over less than 5000c!!  i panicked and tried to reestablish the comm link to say i was sorry, but they wouldn't have any of that. they wanted to teach me a "lesson"

Edit*  Anyone else have moments like this? completely turning the tide on someone who was out to get you is pretty fun
