Because this seems to be the the place where I write down major events in my life. In the past 24 hours I have gone from the top of the world to the bottom, I started the day learning that I got an amazing internship in a great industry.  45 minutes ago the girl who I love to the end of the earth ended our relationship. :/

That certainly sounds like a heck of a day.

IDK what else to say, I don't know anything about you or your situation, but man, days like that are always memorable, if nothing else :)

That which does not kill us makes us stronger. Really! You'll just have to pull through. Focus on the good stuff, like that internship. You're probably thinking "easier said than done", and you'd probably be right, but ultimately you're going to emerge all the stronger. Besides, plenty of good things will still happen. :) New love, opportunities, possibilities, etc.

Like Eric Idle sang in Life of Brian:

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...

...always look on the bright side
of life...

That always cheers me up.

Break ups are rough; you have my sympathies.

My very first one was especially rough and it took me a very long time (2 years?) to really get over it. Hopefully you fare better than me :). But even if not, remember that it really does get better.

And I have no idea if you want to become a writer, but I guarantee you'll be able to write relationships much better for going through it...

In this day and age, jobs and lovers are hard to find. Slow job markets and a 53% divorce rate (usa) aren't very easygoing conditions. I say it's lucky to have at least one!
