Left one = Omnomnom cruiser, if you only make the dark purple part collidable in the ship editor it can eat smaller frigates!
I actually made a workable ship out of it myself, and it works pretty ok to eat frigates and such if you give it enough speed and agility, though I used a 10000 damage laser to simulate the damage part, but I guess you could make something prettier than that.

Right one = eyeballs reconnaissance frigate, supposed to have great view range and give a some sort of bonus to nearby ships, range bonus for all missiles if possible?
