Success!  ;D

Though next time I think I'll take more removal.
It would have made utilizing my imp-enetrable line of minions far more efficient.

Health is just another resource; spending it to gain board control is vital to winning consistently.
I strongly recommend watching Trump's stream; it's very informative, practically a cheat-sheet for winning in Arena.

Re AoE; it was a problem in a few games.
However as most games didn't go beyond turn 5~6, and most people don't hold onto AoE spells in their opening hand, they were only getting ~5-10 draws to pull their saviour card.
Even when they did manage to clear the board, I'd been able to tap life so many times I was able to immediately repopulate the board.

I really like warlock; it just won me another 9-1 arena win, thanks in no small part to 3 blood imps..... and Lord Jaraxxus ;D

FYI: Hearthstone stats tracker:

Runs in the background & uses OCR to grab win/loss stats from all your games.

Don't feel bad; luck of the draft plays a HUGE part in the successfulness of decks.

Case in point, the game immediately following my 9-1 victory was with a Priest deck.
In the draft I got no card draw, very few strong 2, 3 or 4 mana minions, no mind control, and no shadow word pain.

In short, the deck was completely crippled by too little early game strength; the run ended with an embarrassing 0-3.  :(

I think that's another reason why I like the Warlock so much; his hero ability goes some way towards mitigating the inevitable bad RNG you encounter in the drafts & opening hands.

Ugh, I had high hopes for getting a key from curse.com with its 5000 keys, 8 entries (entered all). If divided equally tweeters would get a roughly share of 600 keys, and there were only around 800 tweets. I wasn't among those to get them -.-"

I feel really disheartened lol

1st arena run since the new patch; reached 10-3 with this garbo deck.
Don't ask me how it got that far; 'Mage OP' is my only explanation.

That said, Water Elemental is so incredibly strong now they've tweaked the freeze mechanics. (If the opponent freezes their own characters during their turn, they remain frozen through your turn AND their following turn).

:edit:

Just finished another run, but only reached 8-3 this time, even though the deck(Paladin) was theoretically far superior.
Arena is so rng...

Finally... The dream*! (for those who don't watch Trump's stream, 'The Dream' is a term used to describe 12-0..... or 0-3  ;D)

For those interested, here's the deck.

...and the reward. (meh)

Me neither, my deck slots is full of themes. Freeze Mage, Beast Hunter, Enrage Warrior etc. Rank 14 with those not so impressive common/rare cards.
