Please make it so that pressing esc twice in combat doesn?t close the whole game, I?ve lost my progress now a couple of times because of that, because I wanted to close the esc menu with esc. :/

I thought that was a bug? If not, then yes, hitting Esc in the Esc menu shouldn't close the game.

The game was completed 8 years ago and we get a free expansion every year.

Arranging holidays in an embrace with the Starsector is priceless.

I have to ask why the ESC command got changed to what it is from the auto resolve? Was it a problem with the AI or something?

There's no more auto-resolve except for pursuit battles.

Likely to stop exploiting.  I know I was guilty of it; if I couldn't catch up to a ship I'd esc to auto-resolve and I might get it anyway.

Auto-resolve itself could be improved so that's not feasible to do... but eh.

Ahhh, I see! Makes sense although It would have been nice to have just fixed the exploit, especially now with the bigger maps
