about £30
Please no.
Seriously.
There's nothing even remotely decent for anything related to working with sound in this price range.

You have several instruments, can't you afford a decent pair of headphones?
And if you want to record voice, get a microphone. Headsets with microphones are only good for gaming and skype calls.

The PC 360 from Sennheiser uses HD 598 drivers, so they're actually pretty great for listening too.

And I'm sure that for that price you can find a pair of headphones that sound way better than both of them.

I sorta like and don't like the price argument, because personally I have a pair of XB700s which I adore, and paid like 75 new, yeah yeah sure sure, "ya shoulda got the ATH-m50 ya wasted ya monays"
well at the time they just weren't on sale and I broke my last pair of earbuds so I had nothing to use, and the nearest places that had them in the m50 s in stock listed them at 125 before tax,
I even listened to both of them, even if my ears aren't great, I certainly enjoyed both, so I got the cheaper pair, the xb 700s, I still don't regret it :P sound quality be damned, these are funphones :D /rant :3

The argument about price goes like this: you can't get more than what you pay for.

Correct. But you can also pay more than what you get.

Just try to get as close to your expectations as you need/can afford.
I got a Sennheiser Headset (for VoIP, listening to music) for... 40-50€ I think? They still work after 3 years, so imo they were worth it.

I recommend, above all others for a budget pair of headphones, Koss PortaPros.

Seriously, I've used them over studio grade headphones before and I'd take them any day over my pair of Sennheiser HD 25 IIs

What would be the best choice for a headphone designed with music in mind? I have around $50 to spend, and while I've had the opportunity to try out a Koss UR29 full-size headphone, I'm always looking for more advice and suggestions.
