To clarify some things, from what the OP said, it sounds more like treasure chest than an actual dungeon you have to crawl through, unless of course he's implying that a new feature of the game would be people in space suits with guns running around in a large piece of debris, which in itself would require Alex to code an entirely different game just for these hulks.

In the latter case scenario, this sounds more like the "wrecks" you find in Freelancer.

If that's the case, I'm all for it, provided of course they're balanced non-uniques and consistent with real wrecks, instead of your way to find "ULTRA OVERPOWERED SUPER MEGA RARE CLASS 10 WEAPONS OHMYGOD AWESOMES".

More along the lines of Escape Velocity Nova and that sort of thing.
