Teleglitch.
« on: December 11, 2012, 05:01:22 AM »

Okay, so, with all the recent indie advertisements on this forums and whatnot, i decided to join the fray. :)

So, i found this little pixel game called Teleglitch , which is now on desura. It is an action survival-horror game, in which you investigate a proceduraly generated military research base on some planet 30 AU away from earth. An experiment of theirs failed, leading to robots, zombies and huge robotic monsters. You have a wide variety of weapons, which also can be disassembled, and the parts used to either upgrade or build entirely new weapons. I like it, and for 10 EUR/USD, it really is a nice game. :)

EDIT: Oh, and there is also a free demo to try out, if you'd like to. :D AND it is also an rougelike. Forgot to mention that. :)

Care to continue on that train of thought? Elaborate your statement, maybe?

I don't know, just the art style doesn't appeal to me, And the type of game seems like it could (and has been by Mojang) be designed in about a day :/

Sorry, but i simply don't think a huge studio such as Mojang can compare to a 1-man, or 2-man studio such as the devs behind teleglitch.

Still. This is a larger game, and more indie focused. And they're charging for it. I still think it is a good game.
