I didn't expect the Paragon to be quite so beastly at lv.45 with all the right Tech and Combat skills. When I was done getting all the nice skills (dps increasing, OP increasing, flux venting) and finished fitting it, I had a moment where I was just 'Oh my god, what have I just created...' That thing was amazing enough already, but now that thing is indestructible even with full damage turned on (but my second-in-command somehow manages to lose it occasionally =/).

Reports of Paragons soloing the HSDF are not exaggerated. Nothing can even crack the shields, let alone scratch the hull. Anything that gets even remotely close to it simply dies. When I fight an Onslaught in the simulator, I only get up to about half flux before it dies, and most of that is soft flux. It's shear insanity.

(Also, the game is made in Java, not flash)

I wasn't expecting the Hound to become a fleet mainstay in .54.

Spoiler
With Technology maxed out it has 45 OP. You get a cheap, shielded, highly mobile Heavy Needler/Heavy Mauler platform for only 3FP. And it's utterly disposable, too!

not to mention because their so cheap and disposable you can mount just about anything you want to em and cheaply add more firepower to an escort. i have one decked for point defense hovering around my destroyer all the time! its awesome i rarely have to bother with incoming missiles which is nice because i put weapons into every single slot on my hammer head with no PD :P

When you can't go on, just accept your doom. It comes to all, it is inevitable.

Also I totally had the name BEFORE the cruiser.

I didn't expect the Brawler to be able to do something. Its fairly good now.

I didn't expect the Apogee to be so damn awesome.

I also didn't expect the numerous ideas that I would come up with for this game, yet never experiment on or mention.
