So I just ordered this bad beast and it should be here in the mail sometime this up coming week (I ordered it Friday but the elves down at Newegg petitioned for the weekend off, the bloody bastards.) and let me tell you, from what I can see in videos, the thing is MASSIVE. Now this is the non-reference standard non-EE version of the 6870. Here's a link:

I was wondering if anyone had one? I keep getting told that the length is anywhere from 9'5 inches to 10'5. As you can imagine, even a full inch is a football field when it comes to certain computer cases. As I'm struggling for space as is (with all the wires from my new PSU, it wasn't modular), I was wondering if anyone can give me a real measurment.

Yes, I know it was risky to buy the card without knowing if it would fit FOR SURE, but from what I measured, I should be able to fit an 10 inch card inside, provided I move around the HDD's a bit. :3

to be honest it doesn't look all that big..

Look at the PCI-E slot connector, its about half the length of the card.. my GTX 670 Windforce 3x is just as long, or longer, haven't looked in a while.
