Logistics Notifications

Download v1.3

This utility mod gives periodic notifications of your fleet's logistics in a format that is directly useful. For supplies, it shows the number of days until your supplies run out. For fuel, it shows the number of lightyears you can travel through hyperspace.

It also plays an alarm if your supplies or fuel fall below a threshold specified in the config.json.

Version 1.3
- Added "LogNot" console command to check days of supply and ly of fuel

Version 1.2
- Fixed FPS drop with large fleets
- Supply calculation now accounts for being over capacity in fuel and personnel
 
Version 1.1
- Moved alarm settings to config.json
- Added alarm as soon as alarm level of supplies or fuel reached
- Fixed on-load logistics notification

- Added missing version checker files.

Before I test the mod I have some questions:

1. Can you post some screenshots?
2. New game required?
3. Can I remove the mod without problems?

Utility mods like this one can be added and removed at will.

I didn't include screenshots because all the mod does is periodically put text notifications on the left side of the screen like intel messages. It is low-key on purpose.

There is a tiny bit of a trouble with Tartiflette's SCY Nation mod, as their ships has dynamical maintenance, that depends on fleet state "stands still"/"on move", which leads to quite heavy performance issue.
But it's easy to overcome - if player has SCY-ships in fleet and took performance hit after adding this mod, said player need to drop said SCY-ships into storage, get on system screen, witness performance return and voila, SCY-ships can be taken back from storage.
I've found it on practice when after adding mod FPS dropped to ~25 on speeding time, from 60+, but as soon as I've done aforesaid it went better.

Thank you for the report. I don't think this has anything to do with SCY and I have no idea why your fix has any effect, however, I know why this mod could cause some FPS trouble and I'll fix it up.

I made a suggestion to show days of supply, etc., in vanilla. If you find the information this mod shows useful, please pop over there and voice your support.

Your screenshot is throwing a bit of a red flag. 412 supplies using 10 a day will last 510 days? Shouldn't that be 41? Or is it calculating based on the normal usage and not the current usage which spikes for repairs and regening CR?

Even better: it accounts for the cost of repairing and the transition back to normal maintenance.

Edit: you make a good point though, I'll add the CR UI to show why there's a discrepancy.
