repairing 2 for one fuel....
not sure how useful that would be...
I'm not suggesting you purposefully waste jumps just to repair, you simply repair 2 hull every jump as you progress through the systems.
The only legitimate drawback is that you are forced to have the Repair Drone equipped in any fight that immediately follows the jump.
2 hull is nominally worth 4 scrap.
A typical game has ~120 jumps in it.
That's up to 480 scrap saved in repair costs! Obviously it'll be much less than this in your typical game, but it's still a significant saving.
In my current game for example, I've played through to sector 7 without needing
any station repairs!
