Would anybody be interested in a series of me failing at this game?

Game definitely feels short.  Good thing replay value is pretty high but it just feels like about 1/3 of an epic game in length.

Still very good overall, it's just a shame that game ends when you want it more~

i fully intend to if and when I learn how...

such a shame this game isn't good at commanding large ships... my dreams of commanding an onslaught in detail shall remain unfulfilled... for now....

Anyone fancies a 1 hour long video? Recorded 3 parts but decided to slap them together into 1 video. Il put it up if anyone shows interest. (Il probably put it up anyways)

I just started a new game with the Nesasio and only in my first fight I noticed that this ship has no friggin shields!  This game is really hard on my nerves, but I like it.

I hope they are motivated to make a bigger, better FTL2.

Has anyone played Flotilla? A blend of that and FTL would be a dream.

The game was completed 8 years ago and we get a free expansion every year.

Arranging holidays in an embrace with the Starsector is priceless.

Played to death!

Also, SAIS (Strange Adventures in Infinite Space) and its sequel Weird Worlds.
The combat is action rather than strategy, but very similar to FTL in many other respects.

YYYYEEEAAAAHHH! Just got done winning a game with the Torus! Of course, some playthroughs you just seem to get REALLY lucky. I happened to get a second ion cannon after only 3 jumps, and managed to get a second anti-ship drone MKII after a couple more jumps, then I got a drone recovery arm. With all of those, how could you not win? I just ion cannoned their weapons and shields, then laughed as my anti-ship drones had a field day. After that, it was smooth sailing for the rest of the game (except for a few asteroid fields that really tore me up).

EDIT:
Has anyone played Flotilla?
Didn't like that game at all. Music sucked, the controls were bad, and the graphics were too weird for me.

Just got it yesterday. I have a mac but I refused to use..alternative means….until I had paid the dev for his hard work. Totally worth it.
Starting out, I got halfway through (I think? I died on the fourth system) on my first game because I had nearly 20 missiles at any given time, and then I died in a hostile rock men system. I started an encounter and three boarders disabled my shields right away and my human crew could do nothing at that point besides curl up and die. :P

In short, if you throw a stone out of the rear window of your spaceship you will go faster.

I found how to get the unknown ship!
1 find the broken stasis pod
2 get it fixed
3 go to the rock homeworlds
4 look around for a wormhole
5 go though the wormhole
6 ???
7 PROFIT!
