@Amazigh: Would you mind explaining just whose kit you bashed? I don't recognize any of the components from Starfarer ships.

*Kitbash.

So yeah, this entire mod is a huge reference to a certain series of videogames.
I kitbashed the ship from inside the spoiler in my previous post, not an existing starfarer ship.

CRIMSON DISASTER "Supreme Weapon of Extreme Hellish Annihilation"

E: Aw, the board doesn't support Japanese characters. Still, sounds like a spellcard.

Would need "Sign" in there, depending on the character. Iku, maybe? Though, she's more elements and fish. There's Tenko, but not really... the closest she has to "Disaster" is "Earthquake".

I guess you could justify it since it's a supreme weapon, and most final spell cards typically lose the "Sign" in favor of something else. (e.g., sakana-chan's Cloud Realm "The Thunder Court in the Sea of Abstruse Clouds").

Specifically, Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu. I'm assuming the Black Label version as well, considering the thread title.

More or less my thought process when creating this mod:
  • Hmm, it'd be neat to make a powerstrong ultramanly ship using a sprite from an old(ish) game.
  • *Google search for a decent sprite*
  • Hmm, this one is pretty nice, but way too big.
  • *KITBASH*
  • well, it's from DoDonPachi, and there was the whole black/white label version thing that was going on, how about a black/white version of the ship...
  • *CODE CODE CODE*
  • There, hilariously Overpowered but fun, time to post it.

In terms of what this mod adds ingame, there is a station orbiting Corvus I at which you can buy the White Label version of the ship, which is pretty powerful and can reliably take on entire fleets on its own, but every 40 days or so the station spawns the greatly superior Black Label version and it proceeds to go on a killing rampage.

I hate to have to ask this, but do you have permission from the owners of the DoDonPachi property to use their content or derivatives thereof?

No I didn't ask for permission and honestly didn't think that doing so would be necessary, the sprite has been Heavily modified from the original and it's not like i'm using it commercially or anything like that.

Just so you know, if the owner issues a takedown request, this thread will be deleted without any warning whatsoever. Additionally, it is considered impolite to use other people's content without asking for permission first, so I encourage you to do so, but I will not make it mandatory. It's simply bad form.
