I may not quite have the style you are looking for, but I could probably help you with your ships. Between kitbashing the already included ships and creating original sprites, I could probably create something half decent. PM me if you think I could be of use to you.

I could as well help with some ship sprites. I have messed around a lot with kitbashing and produced a couple ships I really like. Just give me a style of ship and I'll see what I can do. The only problem is I know nothing of how to make weapons, so I couldn't really help with that :3
