Favorite Browser?
« on: August 06, 2012, 06:49:23 AM »

Sooo, what is your favorite browser? Mine is Opera because it has a easy to use design and a nifty "Quick select" start page. And also because its made in Norway YAY.

Chrome. Fast, minimalist and just plain better (in my opinion) than any of the others. IE is just crap, and I found Firefox to be hugely sluggish after using Chrome

There are free rendering engines you can use, like Gecko (used by Firefox) and WebKit (Chrome and Safari). Rendering web pages is by far the most complicated part, so it's not as difficult to make your own browser as you might think. :)

Pale Moon as my main on Win7, Iron (portable) for quick-reference stuff and Flash (because Flash is the Devil).

Firefox on Ubuntu, but I haven't booted into that in forever (I'm still on Karmic huehuehue), mostly because I'm contemplating (and have been for the past year or so) switching to a different distro (I've narrowed the choices down to Gentoo, Mint, or Debian).

Not sure if I'm even going to run a browser on my media server. Probably won't need it. Do need to look into XBMC support for FreeBSD, though...
