But doesn't java limit your abilities of what you can do?

Java, C#,C++, Python... all are full featured programming languages: they should be able to do absolutely anything and everything. Of course some things will be easier with certain languages depending on what libraries are available to help matters along.
Indeed, I'm currently looking to study Computer Science at University, I'm there now doing a course on app development, its rather awesome. Planning to go on to indie game development

Well, I'm going to take some computer science classes myself!
They'll all be on how to program, ofcourse ;)

Also, want to join forces?
Meh, I'll think about it

Hm? You got some other offers already? Woah :D

Anyways, i'll be considering what approach to take to this, and i am really considering what opportunity smaller games can bring, both in terms of profit, fame and skill. :D

Well, If you can make a small game, REALLY REALLY well, and have it absolutely perfect in every way, AND have a really neat new feature, (comma city here XD) that my friend, can be a really good way to spread your name.

Indeed. But how will it get known? (known as advertising) I was thinking of maybe having TB do a WTF is... of it. Perhaps that'd be a good way of solidifying the playerbase. :D

Tb wouldn't do a game if it wasn't very bug free and more well known

This^ 2x. [-discreet cough-] One must learn to walk before learning to run, etc.

That being said, I wish you the best of luck, Upgradecap. For this goal, you'll need persistent dedication that is more long-term than perhaps you realize.

Exactly, Serious game development requires 100% dedication, you will not just be half assing it this time if you want a real, buyable game

Yeah, that's something i already knew, no need to tell me that... trice?

Anyways, i won't be halfassing a game out just to get me some profit ($$$) but what i will do is put my full dedication into every game i start, to make it's production value be above average :D

Sounds like a good deal, eh? :D
