Honestly the Omen needs a massive buff.  Maybe to 50 OP and having 4 omni slots.

I think you misunderstood there (either that or I am, also a possibility). What I think is being implied is that Alex wants to nerf the Omen in light of its performance with the EMP system thingie

Yeah, maybe I have the wrong impression but it looks like the Omen will be able to completely lock down multiple wings of fighters at once - it will flawlessly counter every fighter except the Xyphos (whose shield would protect at the right angle) and missiles as well.

Eagle with 3 grav beams and 3 tac lazers. Whatever you want in the ballistic slots. Best anti fighter ever, and also a great ship vs other ships.
