I'm exploring the idea of a weapon that fires two beams but not like the current guardian pd where all the beams fire at once, but like the dual flak, one at a time from 2 barrels.
Is there any way of making this happen with the current game build? as beam weapons are slightly different and cannot take all the functions that ballistic or normal energy weapons have.
Currently the Alternating attribute in the .weapon file has no effect and all beams will fire simultaneously.
Another question I have, is there anyway to make a missile start tracking the moment it comes into existence instead of the current:
" launch -> drift -> track -> engines fire "
into
" launch -> track -> engines fire "
There's like a 0.5 - 1 second of complete inert-ness that I'd like to completely remove.
