Yeah sometimes it feels like we are just like 300 people playing. Cant Alex publish the numbers on the front page or something? Like many others do?

Hmm? Would sound like a good idea, and a somewhat good idea when you want to market it. To know that the player base is somewhat extensive is always good

Most people don't post on forums for most games so if 300 people are posting on a forum for a single player thats not finished and is an indie game i'd say thats quiet a large number.

Well, if we where to estimate the player base for members that post, then that would be 1744 players that have bought the game.

It has been a long time since I have seen an alex post, that means that he is hard at work, but maybe he will look at this thread if we keep saying alex because alex has a bot that searches for alex's name on the forum so that alex know what we are saying about alex.

I speculate that there is a very large number of people who have gotten the game so far. At least 10k, if not more. My primary reason for this believe is the amount of views TB's Starfarer vid's have gotten.

Again, just speculation. As posted before; the majority of player do not post on forums.

I would say with TB's very positive impression of this game added with the pure word of mouth generated from it a good amount of people have this game BUT not many registered on the fourms and if they did even less of them posted people who comment are usually in the minority of around 20-5% so it's really hard to figure out accurate numbers based on a fourm for accounts that you don't have to make or even use
