I guess it's because of Alex that you're using the wrong symbol to represent the 3rd Reich? Might as well use a kielbasa to represent Poland.

That aside, those are neat sprites and I'm really curious to see where you're taking this mod.

That's the exact reason I'm not using a nazi swastika. That and people overall are sensative about it.

Reading through your prototype thread now. I wasn't sure at first but this looks awesome. I'd be happy to help out with it if there happened to be anything you needed a hand with.

What I'm most curious about right now is how you're going to sort out the background, nebulae and asteroids. Is it possible for a sufficiently large background to stay static? Can you tell asteroids to sit still?

Yes a background can stay static. I might change nebulae to forests, or remove them if that doesn't work out. Asteroids will be structures. Though if I can't stop their movement, they will be changed to either civilian vehicles, cattle (imagine cows running across a field in panic) or removed.

Just thought of two things that'd be easy to pull off in Starfarer.

Nebelwerfer, Katyusha and the Mattress. Attempts at modern, medium range rocket artillery. German, Russian and American, respectively.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nebelwerfer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyusha_rocket_launcher
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mattress_(rocket)

Also, since it'd be such a trivial thing to do with the way Starfarer works, someone somewhere has to dual wield.

Wasn't it General Patton who kept a pair of Colt revolvers?
