MineCraft players
« on: May 18, 2012, 05:00:36 PM »

I saw in this thread that we have a decent amount of MineCraft players, here. So, just out of curiosity, what do you guys like to do in MineCraft?

I, personally, love just playing survival mode with my friends with some kind of goal, be it building some structure or finding a rare biome. Usually, though, the goal is to win the game. :)

When I played minecraft a while back, I always took great pleasure in breaking the things that other people created. But now you can't do that because it's impossible to find an unprotected server anymore. :(

Of course, because they don't want their creative works destroyed.

Exactly. :)

I always enjoyed building around natural landscapes, like building inside of mountains and bridging a couple of them together. Other than a couple of sidewalks on the outside and a few windows and doors, you couldn't tell anyone was living in there, but once you got inside it was awesome.

That sounds awesome. :) It's the kind of architecture I aim for, but always seem to fail at. :/ Eh, I'm more of a Minecraftian Survivalist. ^_^
Been hoping to make a LP series sometime.

Indeed. I love doing this kind of architecture with mods on, like the elevator mod and such. Makes it feel more epic :)

My strength would be majestic cities which move with the nature its build on. I prefer building a lot of small things, like houses etc, then one big thing.
Also i found this unholy mix on moddb, Starmade. It says its a multiplayer minecraft in space. Anyone want to try it with me?

Building a small house and then reach out to other surfaces and making a huge sprawling web of a building.

I love it when it works.

After I ruined my first survival single player map with invedit and mcedit I've never been able to play survival so I almost only built buildings on my server.

Moddb is a site where you can post mods for all kind of games. I tried a little bit of Starmade, and i think it could be cool when played with more

I always built either houses or really big castles.
