You could also give me a little help on weapons? :3 ( have no clue how those recoil and hardpoint things and glow are supposed to work )


Take a look at the Caelus graphics files, or ask our lead weapons coder, The Soldier for hints and advice! :D

Also, i personally love those graphics! :D

Anymore coming out from´your factory? (Both ships and weapons) :D

Many... many more :) Just did a little travelling and didn't have a chance to work on more things. I almost have all of the Tholian ships ready, just need to do some accenting to the frigates. And I've downloaded a new set for BSF and using that for the GTC ships.

For recoil, if any, I need two sprites, one sprite with JUST the gun and another with JUST the weapon (look at the hellbore sprites for help).
And I'll gladly do them, just need some lore on the weapons and what faction they're for.

Not in the CAELUS universe, though. Maybe in the Moonbase Alpha universe

Yeah, I'd go with these.  You might want to remove the star decals, as it too gives it that unified look.  But they'll be a little more tailored to the hodge podge fleets an independent captain would field.

Honestly, we wouldn't be remiss in the independents merely fielding a variety of ships from different factions.  The vanilla independents use midtech and hightech, though imo it should be even more varied than that.

Don't get me wrong, these ships are great, but I think they could use a little bit more contrast. I think they feel a pretty flat at the moment. If you have PS or something similar, just use the gradations curve or whatever it's called.
You will see, they get a lot of deep this way, because you have done a very good job at the shadows and lightning effects.

Is there anything that needs making so I can work with it this weekend when I have no internet? Maybe more planets?

How come you won't have any interweb this weekend? (yeah, i know it's spelled internet, but not in the CAELUS universe ;D)
Well, if you want work, you could always come up with some awesomely epic planet sprites and post them here :)

Also, could you make a prototype low-tech ship so that TheHappyface has something to work on for the new Ferrus ships? :D

I'm going to my family's summer house where we don't have acces to internet.
I will try to make some planets for the Ashuni System but I don't think my sprites would be any good because I'm not a spriter.

Ahh, not yet done. Am working on the independent ships, and i STILL haven't integrated the remaining three factions into the Caelus system.  Ah the joys of modding ::)

I'll give you an expected ETA: 2-2½ hours ;)
