CAELUS UNIVERSE MOD


A mod of epic proportions! By the end of this project, it will include over 300 new ships, at least 10 new factions, and a countless number of new weapons!

Included:

  • Take control of a Sidus Dim Strike Force attacking an Independent Convoy, or take them down with the Caelus Defense Force.
  • Helm a Ferrian, Sidus Dim, Caelus Defense Force, and countless other faction's ships, and outfit them with new weapons!
  • Countless new weapons, from the Odin Guided Munitions Launcher to the Tesla Destroyer, just to name a few.
  • New Music!

You need some "lead" for this project. A *strong* lead. (NOT proposing myself)

I tell you by personal experience, flawlessly incorporate a lot of stuff in a single mod is hard. It gets harder and harder as you grow up. Ask Omega, I don't envy his situation :D (and I say this knowing he is a better scripter then me by a long shot).

I tell you by personal experience, flawlessly incorporate a lot of stuff in a single mod is hard. It gets harder and harder as you grow up. Ask Omega, I don't envy his situation :D (and I say this knowing he is a better scripter then me by a long shot).

The *lead* is me so far.  But again, craftomega is trying to incorporate several *different* mods whilst what I am trying to do here is build a complete mod from scratch.

I am no coder, but I can provide A LOT of backstories, backgrounds, ideas for weapons, factions, races, ships, etc.

So I would be interested in providing those, if this gets off the ground.

Oh, i see. You thought that i was trying to incorporate several mods like craftomega? Not exactly that easy ;)

Any chance you would sign up as a coder? (By coder I mean: make balanced hulls and variants) we need every man we can get :D

Like I asked earlier, I can work on some of the core factions, etc. I already have an idea for the main "pirate" kind of faction in the system.

Gotta start somewhere, right?

And I shall gladly help name and edit the factions to create balanced and more fun experiences if you like, Maybe tweaking some energy weapons for a particular faction i have in mind

@D0vahkiin tell me more about the core faction. I'd love to see the pirates :D

@TheSoldier. Yeah, you're free hands on weapons making. Just make Sure they'll look nice and be pretty balanced not op. Though don't balance them too much towards vanilla. This will be a huge mod ;)
