I'd ask to change the color theme of the entire faction to that, but I know that'd be a *** ton of work...

Okay, Upgrade, I need a status report as to what needs developing for the next mission. Today people we need to make some more progress, I fear we are falling behind :/. I'll start cranking out ship sprites, If someone could add more details where needed that'd be great, We need some more weapons too and i want the space monster done :D. Let's get to work

Yeah. I got NikolaiLev to do a review for us (through pm :D), and according to it, we have to bring up the netfhammer and hit our weapons with it. :)

Just lemme post his review here :)


Well, I've looked at the mod and fiddled with the weapons and ships for a half an hour or so.  So, first impressions.

From what I've seen, the ships look mostly fine.  But the weapons are absolutely batshit insane.  I don't know where to start, these things are ridiculous.  I could go on for hours, but from what I've seen the only ones that are fine at all are the heavy ballistic ones, which I didn't test very much.  The strike chaingun is ridiculous, the metal storm is bonkers, the other weapons are far too efficient... the Thunder MIRVs are just all around Too Good, even though it's an appealing concept.

By the way, have you tried making use of keptin's Balance Suite thing?  It's certainly done a great deal of good for Uomoz's mod, but I'm not sure it has a function for weapons (though it ought to.)

I was also disappointed at the lack of campaign integration, as I'm far more interested in campaign stuff than missions (since it's your own fleet that you build up and have experiences with.)

The ships are kinda uninteresting to me, but that's just me.  I like the Warhawk ones though.

Sorry that my feedback isn't as shimmering as it was with other mods.  I'd like you to keep in mind that this mostly comes up to personal taste (except for the weapon balances.)  Comprehensive balance feedback is much easier to do in the context of a campaign as well, since you're making choices on what to put in your fleet, and so it's much more natural to pick apart what's good at what and how.  I'll be playing around with the mod more, and I'll give a more thorough analysis on the ships and experiences in the missions.

I don't really think we should change the colour scheme of the sidus dim since they're a corp and technically the bad guys so green and orange fits better than blue and green.

I guess we could always create the first little system (the CAELUS system?).

But i'll need another coder and scripter to cover me here. Anyone up for the task? :D
