I personally think this makes the game more fun, because you have to make choices on what you want to take, what you want to leave, what you want to throw away to make more room for, or just take everything and make a mad dash to the nearest orbital station to dump it off.


Exactly, it's like in RL you cant carry unlimited amount of stuff. You have to chose.

Unless you are enormously rich and if you are well, buy out Alex co. and bully him to make game as you like it  ;D

God, everyone gets so whiny about the accidents. It's really not that hard to avoid them, I've had one since I downloaded .52a and it was my own damned fault for buying like 20 assault chainguns.

Basically, I'm going to have to whip out the 'you-suck-at-the-game' argument for people having trouble with accidents.

Also, if you're going to say *** like 'I'm done with the game', good riddance, you're not helping it to improve during it's alpha stage.

The simpliest way to fix that is to go in you game save file, and seek fleet point, I always put it at 1000 so I never get an issue having huge fleet.

In the save file, its normally after your credit amount, or around it.

You know, I don't know why that didn't occur to me to suggest this :) Sure beats editing fleet point costs all over the place.

Just search for
<maxFleetPoints>100.0</maxFleetPoints>
and replace 100 with whatever you like. Note: it gets reset if you lose your fleet and respawn.

Since you only need to change one thing, you can just ctrl+f search for "maxFleetPoints" to find it easily.
