A few more.

  • Spinning projectiles- Bullets, lasers and Missiles that 'spin', Independent of directional velocity, allows for spinning blades, oscillating energy orbs, rotating crewmen of doom, that sort of stuff
  • Aftermath Effects- effects produced after having fired a pojectile, would make some mods more convincing down the line, like corrosive acid leaving greenish ooze on the hull and a small DoT, or a Needlers bullets sticking out of the hull,a purely visual effect; This may have been brought up before, can't seem to find it anymore.
  • Post-battle 'Continue' button placement- Unfortunate double clicks seem to be fairly common

Telemarketers! in Space! (when campaign is fleshed out)

They'll come in droves in shuttles offering you petty weapons and worn down hounds for cheap! no interest! maybe some scratches here and there!

and when you say no! two more show up!

They'll come in droves in shuttles offering you petty weapons and worn down hounds for cheap! no interest! maybe some scratches here and there!

and when you say no! two more show up!

Great, you just made them more determined, 4 more come in that ones place :(

With enough shuttles even Timcorp will be no match! (Tehe)

Add couplers to all your ships so you can attach them all together into a super ship!!

  • Built in Hull mods- like built in weapons;Alternatively:
  • Locked out Hull mods/Weapons- sort of how shields are locked out for phase ships, pretty silly since I doubt it'd balance well once hull mods are refined, sillier than built-ins anyway; Could be useful for mod gimmick ships

    like a shark faction whose ships can't decelerate and want it to stay that way,or a tech faction that uses high upkeep-zero efficiency shields and doesn't want frontal shield emitter/stabilized shields making them too powerful

  • Billowing, Whipping, Whooshing and other organic movements- useful for things like space monster tails, mechs, and capes; Things [Vanilla]Starfarer isn't likely to include.
  • Weapons with a ship-like 'push' effect- Giving weapons mass an the ability to push like ship/shield ramming; so similar to the spinning Grav beam effect it's unlikely to happen.(would be useful for creating 'physical' weapons, like a beam sabre or powerful plasma balls with knockback.
  • Weapon Mount Weapons- Speaking of Space Monster tails, any chance of a weapon like that, where the weapon "mount" can be used as the weapon? Probably not, too far-fetched;ie: the weapon mount is itself a weapon, and wouldn't require 'shooting' as much as 'swinging'
