ships behavior options
« on: May 06, 2012, 07:51:31 AM »

Just a few simple requests.
I want to be able to order ships(specifically fighters) when to retreat/refit. Fighters aren't very durable and if n% of total wing hp is lost i want them to run for the nearest carrier.
Also, i really need no weapons group, group(say group 0) without  any weapons, so that other groups can fire automatically.

There's an order for fighters to retreat/refit.  Same place as giving that order to any other ship.

But it would be nice to set the threshold for when they return, sometimes they retreat too soon when you almost killed a unit.

Heh... I usually have the opposite problem. But I agree, a slider to determine the threshold at which the fighters return to repair would be nice.

Err, just hit any key 6-0 to have a weapon group unselected.
