what kind of side effects? what do the wingmen do when u pilot the fighter? or do you pilot the whole squadron?

That's the thing, you can't have wingmen if you want to pilot them. Which upsets balance quite a bit since this change needs to be global unless you just want a single fighter ship for the whole campaign.

I still need to look into it further. I think there was also a combat crash.

And 2 more bundles of mods have bin added.  ;D

Simulation Opponents Mod Bundle !NEW! (Z*-lock, vandala ID)
5 Mods. Each adds different opponent ships to the simulation battle accessible from your refit screen. They add quite a lot of them.
Resource Stack Size Mod Bundle !NEW! (Z*-lock, vandala ID)
6 Mods. Changes the max stack size of you resources. These include Supplies, Fuel, Crew, and Marines. Swap them whenever you like.
If you swap and load a saved game the previous stack size might still apply, but pushing the sort button solves that.



Next up I think I'm gonna look into changing the GUI colors. Maybe I can do something fun with that. Any suggestions people?

EDIT: heh, 123 mods, 123 post count, yey! too bad its not 1234 post count.

i think one of the sim mods made my starfarer crash :( i think this is what you guys call the log because i cant find one labbeled as log https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ey6fpjjq5q3eho/starfarer.log

EDIT and further more the slower battle mod link doesnt work

Whoops, I exedentaly deleted that mod when I was reuploading other mods, I'll have it back up in a moment.

And that is indeed your log file. I'll see if I can figure this out. So far they have all worked for me, perhaps there is a conflic with any other mods you are running.

EDIT: Slower battles is back up! You should see it any time now. Sorry for the inconvenience. Now to sort out the other problem.

EDIT: It's not my mod (though I have learned that both the balanced and the attack variant of the tempest are both displayed as "attack" in the game, I did not know that, still this is not the cause of the problem).
The error that pops up as the cause is that you don't seem to have a tempest_Balanced variant. Which should be impossible because its one that comes standard in the game.

I would guess there is a conflict between the various mods you are running though I don't know which one. You'll have to disable them one by one until you find the culprit, or you have to forgo my HIGH-TECH version of the simulator mods.

HOLD UP!!! I've made a terrible mistake. It is my mod. Hold on I'll have this sorted in a minute.

You first suspision was absolutly correct, it was my mod, I've re-uploaded the bundle and it should be fixed now.

I had forgotten to test the mod on a clean Starfarer install, the game indeed comes with a "tempest_Balanced" variant but it's ID is that of the "tempest_attack" variant. The Starfarer install that I tested my mod under had the ID altered therefor it worked for me, but not for anyone else.

However, that is now fixed, the balanced variants have bin replaced with attack variants in the mod and the bundle has bin re-uploaded, everything should work fine now.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience. I hope you have a good time playing Starfarer.

A bundle of 48 worthless mods.

Font Mod Bundle !NEW! (Z*-lock, vandala ID)
48 Mods. These things SUCK. Not really worth it, has maybe 4 or 5 good ones but no font comes even close to the good look of what we already have.
I made these to see what secret fonts the game held but it turned out to be mostly worthless. Still, feel free to try them.

Fleet Remix: Donated by gunnyfreak.
More variety in general. Pirates now spawn occasional mid-line ships. 2 new variants (eagle/hound). Hyperion, Trident, and Conquest now in the campaign.
New pirate fleet: "Lone Wolf". New tt fleet: "Carrier Group". New independent fleet: "Trader Convoy". New Hegemony fleet: "Detachment".

Another little bundle. It works but I'm not happy with the size of this bundle, there are far more possibilities that can be realized.
Right now though I'm reconsidering my sorting methods, the amount of mods is getting rather ridicules.

Station Stocks Mod Bundle !NEW! (Z*-lock, vandala ID)
2 Mods. One adds everything you could ever want to all stations. The other does the same but also makes all station give everything away for free. A new game is required for this to work.

Wow, I'm gonna lov the compressed savegames!  As well as the Destroyers starter mod, I enjoy those small battles.
