Aha. Thabks for explaining. But after the entry is made in the database, you add the mod archive then, or?

Hey, you can first create the mod with general information, then click on it at the 'my mods' page. There you can click 'add version' to add a new version to your mod.

I added some more descriptive text to the interface to tell what some of the fields do.

I have further information on the previous bug: If you add a version to a mod, and you enter a description, the file uploads but the version is not displayed in the list of versions. If you leave the description empty, everything works.

New bug: When I upload a file as a version of a mod, sometimes the file gets renamed with a "1" appended to the end, even though the original did not have this. I speculate it's to prevent name collisions on the back-end; This is a problem because usually the end of my filenames are the version numbers, and this makes the version number wrong.

EDIT - Looks like I get the problem only with descriptions that are copied & pasted from browser pages (such as viewing forum posts), but not with descriptions I enter by retyping into the text input.

I think you have to "clean up" the clipboard first by pasting into notepad and copying again to get just plaintext; it's possible that my browser is inserting markup that the uploader code doesn't like

Looks good but can you increase the file size maximum... 8mb is way to small.

I think it was a somewhat more glaring flaw, but I think it should be fixed.

In addition, all files should now be unique to each user, allowing you to overwrite your own files. I leave it up to you to ensure you do not overwrite your own files from multiple different locations :P (but if it has the same name, it has a good chance of being the same file anyway)  8).

Perfect, thanks A. Also need a way to edit/delete previous versions. Given that, I can't think of anything else it needs. You've already done a real bang-up job man.

What would you want to compare? At this point there isn't very much that you could actually compare.
