Thaago just reminded me about this feature that even I sometimes completely forget. It's not a crazy knockback which is easily observable but just try loading a carrier with Perditions, and then running a sim vs the default Eagle. Third of the shots usually miss which is pretty substantial for a torpedo, and this isn't even mentioned when you hover over the weapon in the stat card.

Google translate goes crazy.

Can you describe subject in other words? I simply can not miss something about graviton beams!

Hopefully you don't need to translate a video

Gravitons brake and rotate target. Rotation effect is miniscule except for fighters and missiles, but braking can significantly reduce efficiency of some mobility ststems and natural acceleration.

Also looking at Reapers getting rotated off course is funny, yeah.

Its a fun little feature! I'll try to say in other words:

The Graviton Beam has an effect where it causes the targets it hits to spin or be knocked back a tiny bit. Its too small to really matter for ships, but it will cause fighters and missiles to spin. This can be really useful against unguided torpedoes, because once they spin they will curve off to the side. Its a bit random though, as the beams do not fire by default against missiles, being medium non-PD weapons.

[Edit] Two people beat me to it :D

Oh... I get the point.

Well known thing. Unreliable, thought. Just a nice side effect.

Hmm, yeah, good idea. How about:

Quote
Gravitic effects slow and push target off-course. The effect is minor and is most noticeable vs fighters and missiles.

(In the same place on the weapon tooltip that the Ion Cannon etc special effects show up.)

Than another suggestion:

Can we have small PD beam with no damage, but larger effect?  Could be best energy PD, as all the other sucks.
