Yeah, late game my fleet composition is usually 10 support ships, 4-12 capital ships, escort cruisers, carriers, and destroyers.
But that's because I now have infinite money and can afford to do that, on a tighter budget without a home base, and depending on what you are going to be doing with it you can MASSIVELY change your load-out.
On exploration and salvaging jobs you basically only want enough combat ships to match domain probe drones, planning on avoiding pirate fleets and worse altogether. With supporting cargo ships with surveying mods to get the job done.
You current fleet seems to be a capital ship (conquest), 3 cruisers (Eagle, Venture, Apogee), 3 carriers (Fast Carrier, Condor, Mora), 2 phase ships (Harbinger, Afflictor), a frigate (Tempest), and whatever a Memnon is along with support ships.
Not a bad fleet with a lot of diversity. Pretty good for running around doing bounties and killing pirates. Hard to really comment as I'm not sure what you feel you need to be fighting right now or what you want to be doing. Getting another capital, and maybe some more carriers to support it might help you take on luddic battle-stations perhaps? As well as swapping out civilian or weaker ships like the Venture and Condor for proper military craft like a Dominator-class Heavy Cruiser and a Drover-class Light Carrier. (If you don't feel like doubling up on the same ships you already have.)
Another thing to consider might be to buff up your escort fleet of phase ships, frigates and destroyers. These ships work excellently on the flanks of a battle or in support of your larger ships. I can highly reccormend the Hammerhead-class Destroyer and the Sunder-class Destroyer as cheap and effective escorts that punch above their weight in support or against similarly sized/equipped opponents.
