Expeditions Result in Lost Reputation

When an Expedition attacks one of your colonies, the gray text at the bottom states that because no official declaration of war has been giving, killing the Expeditionary Force will not result in a loss of reputation with the faction (Expedition1.png). However, if you do end up defeating the Expedition, you lose reputation with the faction anyways (Expedition2.png).

If you are supposed to lose reputation from killing Expeditions, then the text is incorrect. If not, then clearly there is a bug because reputation is lost.

It's not a bug, it's a feature, you blocked the expedition and that's why you lost reputation, but you did not lose reputation from destroying the fleet itself

IIRC the text has already been clarified for next Starsector release.

Yep, correct. I completely agree that the text is confusing, and, yeah, it's changed for the next release.
