Using abandoned mining stations for colonies

it'd be interresting to be able to use mining stations orbiting around the planets we colonized, instead scrapping them
they could add more ressource productions or negate the "sparse"/"diffuse" modifiers on the planet

I made a post similar to this a little while ago.though I thought of maybe making it a Independence Space Station like a mini Colony or something
it really does feel wasteful when you're destroying these facilities.

"Abandoned" anything should be restorable.
I once ran across a planet with an abandoned orbital station, and still had to build an orbital station :/
