How do I add an image to a post?

I copied it exactly how other people are doing it and it hasn't worked for me.

It wont work



Just above this I have done exactly that and there is nothing there,
Here is exactly the same thing but with a single "[" removed so you can see that I am doing it right:

You need to enclose the image itself (right-click -> copy image address), not the Imgur page. If unsure, look for the file extension at the end.

e.g. https://i.imgur.com/p6wJbgd.jpg
