I think that might be on the things to do, I've seen fleets going to orbital stations to resupply and stuff here and there.

The best solution? Just make the stack size mod-able.. :)

I'm pretty sure it is.

Weird, it opens like that without any tweaking, for me.

Here are my settings



I'm probably also using some hellishly old version, I haven't updated it in ages. That shouldn't change anything, though.

How about a proper scroll bar too?  This current one is located on the inside of the inventory so pressing it selects the item instead of the scroll.

Well, now I know about EVE.  I would not be entirely against this in a SP game, the feasibility becomes an issue, I guess.

This is an alpha - how deep does Fractal plan to go?  How ambitious are they?

i wish they are very ambitious, i want many stuff in teh game, right now its already fun, and its only have the basic, i really want to see.... minign expedition, sell your stuff, build an outpost, start processing your ore you mined ( or still sell them ) build your own module that you wanted a long while ago ( yea since new version, i got again a new paragon battle, but i dam cant find tachyon lance! D: wish i could make them myself ) give mission to faction, or well do mission for faction yourself! ( as right now all yo ucan do.. is detoriating your status with every faction, actually enemy with everyone except try-tachyon lol :D )

well in short... kinda everything you can do in EVE online, in Starfarer :D

How about you just re-do the interface and sort the store into categories.

Cargo and Crew, Energy Weapons, Ballistic Weapons, and Missile Weapons.  Problem solved, IMO.

i would assume that later in the development cycle of the game there will be non military cargo.. so i would seperate it into tabs with

cargo/supplies
crew/marines/civilians?
energy weapons
ballistic weapons
missile weapons

You won't be able to refit fighters and bombers at all. They're designed/balanced around having a particular set of weapons and would be very broken if you could change it. Which ones you pick for your fleet -out of quite a few that are available- is the choice here, not how they're outfitted.

Does anyone know why Alex set the limit so low, or even why there's a limit there at all? Is it purely to make station stockpiles in the game not look so empty?
