[0.9a] No option left but to fight
« on: November 23, 2018, 12:45:11 PM »

so, spacer start, picked up the Hermes from the abandoned station, figured i'd go vulture up some pirate remains, all good, right?

there's no way out of this screen besides deploying my weaponless shuttles into a pursuit scenario and then faffing around while i wait for the hegemony wolf to clean up (or let the pirates escape, as is as likely i suppose) -- turns out if you're foolish enough to click the "pursue them" option without any weapons in your fleet, you don't get another chance to back out after finding out your captains don't want to fly unarmed shuttles around a combat zone without you :(

Thanks! Added the option to "Go back" when you're pursuing.

Question: Is there a reason the Go Back option isn't generally available? (Especially since it is there in devmode)

Yeah, I was thinking about the same. Just want to keep potentially-breaking-something changes constrained at this point - I couldn't 100% promise there wouldn't be a situation where being able to back out from there wouldn't screw something up. I mean, I could probably 90% promise it, but... :)
