9aRc10 Absurdly low Survey Data Prices
« on: November 21, 2018, 08:26:23 PM »

From the title, survey data is incredibly cheap. A class 4 survey can be sold for 8 credits, which seems wrong.

Do you have a save where the price is that low? That would really help track this down. If you do happen to have one, could you send it to fractalsoftworks [at] gmail [dot] com?

After a bit more playing, it looks like it only happens on Sindria.

Hmm, so far not seeing this - just got a Class II, III, and V, and they all seem to sell on Sindria for the right amount.

Forget it, looks like it was one of my mods that caused it. Sorry for not trying that first.

Or not. Looks like just restarting fixed it. I can't reproduce it with the same modlist that I used when encountering it.

Ah, hmm, so this is with mods. Good to know - not necessarily a mod issue, but just to know that it's a possibility.

If it matters, the mods were all utilities and added no markets or ships.

I experienced this as well. The only mod I use is console commands, which I use to cheat (just adding skill points actually), dunno if that matters here. I'm sending a savegame.

Just ran into this now.  I don't have any mods activated but I do have LazyLib & Console Commands inside the mods folder.

This was a spacer start (iron mode); where I found Planet Nachiketa inside the Naraka system was only offering 26 credits for Class V data I had obtained, where as Yama in the same system would pay 30,000.

Weird....I was going to send the save, however on returning back to Nachiketa the price was back to normal....and doh!, it looks like I had overwritten the backup save as well, so I can't reload before I came across that strange price.

I also experienced this once, to date, in 0.9a-RC10. There were zero mods installed. Prices for survey data were all sub-100, it happened at Westernesse, and prices were back to normal once I went to a different system. I have not seen it happen since.
