Really want to try the game, but hesitate on buying it

Chrome just show the starsector website is not safe; it really stopping me to input my credit card information. Hopes it will release on some safer platform for me to buy it.

Hi there - that's just Chrome complaining about the entire website not being sent over an encrypted https connection, which is more than a bit alarmist on their part. The actual order form - that is, the part that matters and actually needs to be secure, since that's where you input your personal info - *is* using https/is encrypted, so Chrome shouldn't complain about it. Sorry about the trouble!

To save Alex some time, he said before he'll probably put it on Steam, but only after 1.0 gets done since he doesn't want to put an unfinished product out there. Although most of us here think that Starsector doesn't even seem like an early access game, I still understand the risk because people on Steam quickly jump to conclusions and immediately bash the game if something is not right.

I have bought the game and the dev did not steal my credit card, if that helps
